got SEM images of four sample
seem simple but hard to interpret

initial observations:

• diamond crystallites are spherical in shape
• as is condition: non continuous both seeded and non seeded
• acid treated more "sharper" compared to as-is..why??
  
• acid treated-diamond size larger at edge, 2x..why??

so basically i have few things to work on
start with methodology since i have done few of them

i just submitted my first ever abstract
and it kinda liberating
and freaking scary at time

will it be accepted?
what if i got rejected (by a conference nonetheless!)

just pray that i will go through

and im glad she recognized my hard work

she's implying that im doing a great job in doing this research
tak sia2 berkampung depan CVD for freaking 3 weeks

and she's suggesting that i start writing a paper on my finding
and i will send an abstract for a conference in July
which is great since i think my finding is good
and it will be my first conference ever

i read fiction because i want to read
i am a fast reader, not the kind who pause and reflects at each word
but somehow i amazed at how people can easily quote the book that they read
and the quote seems is in their context

i cant do that
i just cant
i read too fast to be able to pick up any powerful phrase
and paragraph..

maybe i should changed the way i read
to be more indulge

but i remember quote from movies, though!

about compiling surface pretreament

I spent the whole night compiling the info about surface pretreatment to enhance adhesion of diamond to silicon nitride substrate..
after doing some reading, i'm not sure whether i should go into NCD topic instead of polycrystalline diamond that i should do...

most of the lit discussed about surface treatment in WC-Co, not Si3N4
and trying to compile them into one table is one helluva work
so far only got 7 related sources
which is consider as too little....

basically the project is about deposition of diamond on silicon nitride substrate and the effect of different surface pretreatment on the quality of the diamond film.
i love thin films, and perhaps coating
and that drive me to choose this topic under supervisor that i'm not familiar with
it's just that, i believe that we have to be passionate about what we'll be doing
and that's what i do

i am totally amazed with prof esah's student (he's from indonesia btw)
just by doing his master, he got like 8 publication and even one best paper award

i just hope that i will be able to do the same

almost done...but will give the rough version to PE
and will do the cleaning after the break

now move on to corrosion lab...
