banyak lagi nak buat
serabut bkn sbb tak reti buat
tapi sbb takde resources suma tuh
susah laaa

on lab:
  • nak confirmkan pasal Raman neh a.s.a.p.. rasa cam gi USM jek...kalau bleh gi time CNY lagi best...sambil jalan sambil buat lab
  • after Raman kena wat AFM plak..neh pon kalau bleh siap dalam dua minggu pertama Feb
  • lepas AFm, buat both vickers and adhesion test..then tengok under SEM
  • pastuh compile2, siap yeay!
on writing
  • deadline utk ICAME and AMPT
  • start writing my research methodology (proper one! esp on surface pretreatment etc etc)
  • dah bleh compile esp XRD and SEM, rough estimation

XRD and SEM results are inconclusive
not sure whether all are NCD
o mixture

really really need Raman to distinguish esp between the crystallite and NCD

Tuesday, December 30, 2008

To do:

  • revise Lit Review -include NCD
  • compile in proper manner all the result so far

xrd almost done
5 more sample and im all good

SEM ada banyak lagik...bila nak abis nih
dah laa ada satu part tuh..apekehal laa dia gi ambik gambar substrate
aduiiii...
takde point okay

anyway
i think i can start on my paper now
ada 2 conference
so buat dua paper laaa
and final baru buat journal
insyaAllah

hmmm...
i benci tol kalau orang neh dok nganjing2
perli2
i mean come on laa
im doing my job jek
salah ke kalau aku tak berpoya2 time cuti
at least suma kerja aku setakat neh berbalas okay

tengah nak fahamkan morphology2 diamond neh
cam susah jugak ek...
camne nak kaitkan morphology nih dengan surface pretreatment
ntah2 takde kaitan
tapi takde variation dari segi deposition
so must be surface effect

so far acid etching - ok
as-is - ballas/cauliflower
kenapa??

satu lagik kena confirm
ncd=xrd
which orientation
tgk result sem yg baru neh
nak compare sem ngan xrd

SEM banyak lagik nak kena buat
tensennyaaa

got SEM images of four sample
seem simple but hard to interpret

initial observations:
  • diamond crystallites are spherical in shape
  • as is condition: non continuous both seeded and non seeded
  • acid treated more "sharper" compared to as-is..why??
  • acid treated-diamond size larger at edge, 2x..why??
so basically i have few things to work on
start with methodology since i have done few of them

kinda in chaos right now
too much input
i need a space to sit down and organized my thought
